Nightmares, Disasters, Crimes and Videogames

The week is over, the results are out, so it's time for the next batch of pictures I made for the photoplasty competitions at cracked.com.

And quite a batch it is - over twenty pics! That's quite productive, wouldn't you say?

Like last week I managed to place twice in the same category, and even better: One of my entries for "Tiny Changes that would've turned good ideas into disasters" actually won #1!

Ta-Daaaah!

And the second placer made it to #16, possibly because with that moustache Lady Liberty looks like Teddy Roosewelt:

Below are again all the entries that didn't place, but that you still might find funny.

Oh, und lieber anonymer Anrufer!

MESSAGE TO BASIJI, REVOLUTIONARY GUARD, ARMY

What happens to you when the regime falls? We have your photos. We see you shooting and beating unarmed students, women and old men. Lay down your arms. Choose freedom instead of murdering your own people.

Even some of your Generals are refusing orders. I ask again, what happens to you when Rafsani takes over? We have your photos and will demand you account for killing and beating your people. CHOOSE FREEDOM. (from iran.whyweprotest.net)

Iran fighting for human rights

One of the sources you can access that are not censored by the Iranian Government

Spread the word. The people in Iran are standing up against a repressive regime of religious madmen that, in turn, is fighting back with indiscriminate violence.

People are dying in the streets of Tehran and other cities right now.

Seeing what has been unfolding over there in the past few days fills me with sorrow and terrible rage against the murdering swine who shoot at peaceful demonstrations.

Help spread the word about sites like the above that help spread the word about what is going on in Iran - iran.whyweprotest.net is one of them, set up by Anonymous. You can actively help the Iranian people by setting up proxys for them to use to bypass the government blocking internet services as facebook or twitter, right now pretty much their only connection to the outside and to each other.

I could post pictures or youtubeclips from the streets of Tehran here, but you can find all that on the linked page. There is no need for me to sensationalize my page with it.

People of Iran: My thoughts are with you and your courage in the face of personal harm and death makes me feel very small and humble! Down with the murdering dictators and long live the proud people of Persia!
