Harddisk crash
I had a baaaaad Harddisk-Crash today, basically killing my windows. oO
Luckily I finally got far enough with my new installation to go online again, and I think I even saved all the important data, so all that remains now is re-installing all the programs I had.
Lucky I have more than one harddrive in this computer...
But, man! First my old, good Graphics-Card goes Nirvana, then my second monitor, dividing my workspace by two and now this... Not all in one day, more like over a month, but it's annoying enough...
Anyways: *PHEW*, at least I'M back in business. ;)

It's kinda strange to think
It's kinda strange to think about how devastating tech issues are to our generation. We loose are social life and livelihood. I haven't been by in a while, but I wanted you to know that I love the new theme.
Bleh. Damn computers!
Still busy recovering data from the lost windows partition - happens that my last backup was only 2 weeks old, but the damn backup files are corrupt... :P
So I have to scan my old partition with some file recovery tools, hoping it will find the most important files at least... oO Takes *ages* - literally...
Mumblegrumble.... :(
Well, at least when I'm done I'll have a clean fresh installation of windows2000 to work with, you'll probably know, that over time windows will get bigger and more clumsy, accumulating more and more leftover data...
Okayyyyy...
It looks that, finally, I've arrived at a point where I can say I've got a working windows again, even with all my important old data retrieved. *Phew*.
I worked on this almost non stop since thursday morning, with about 10 hours of sleep over the whole time. The new system is on a new harddrive - which is a bit faster than the old one too, and everything is backed up too already.
Now I'll have a break!
