God, this is ... horrible. And yet - I decided to even go into the really bad stuff I did over the years, so here we are.

Ze Germanz is a parody of Kraftwerk's "The Robots" in which I tried to make lyrics about some of the clichés about us Krauts I came across on the internet over the years.

Kraftwerk, being one of the best known German bands in the world was the obvious choice for the template, also me being a KW nerd of course played a part in the decision.

The lyrics were written by the tried and tested concept of "reim' dich oder ich freß' dich!" ("rhyme! or I'll eat ya!"). Altogether way less witty than I thought back when I first wrote them...

Over the years I did several version of it, with varying instrumentalisations, none of it really that good. This, last one, has the added bonus of showcasing what an awful singer I am when I don't focus on it.
